We're open: Up North Lawn Co. launches in Manistee County
A new family-owned lawn service is now booking weekly mowing, Cottage Care, and seasonal cleanups across Bear Lake, Onekama, and Manistee.

Up North Lawn Co. is officially booking customers across Manistee County. If you've landed here, you're either a neighbor, a cottage owner, a property manager, or someone curious about who's mowing the lawn next door.
Here's what to expect.
What we offer
We do four things and we do them carefully:
- Weekly mowing — Same crew, same day, every week. Mow, edge, blow the hard surfaces. Photo to your phone before we leave the driveway.
- Cottage Care — Built specifically for VRBO and second-home owners. Friday-by-noon turnover, photo confirmation, one predictable monthly bill. You can be three states away and still know your property is guest-ready.
- Spring and fall cleanups — Sticks, leaves, debris. The work that gets the lawn ready for the season — or shut down for winter.
- Snow plowing — Launching November 2026, depending on Year 1 cash flow. Pre-bookings open October.
Where we work
Right now we're focused on the Bear Lake / Onekama / Manistee corridor — that's where our route density makes the most sense. We're also serving Filer Township, Arcadia, and Eastlake. Kaleva, Brethren, and Wellston are on the Year 2 list.
Who we are
We're family-owned, licensed, insured, and based out of Bear Lake. The founder has been coming Up North their whole life — summers as a kid, weekends as an adult, and is now in the middle of the move to make it home year-round. That matters because most of our target customers are seasonal owners. We've sat in your seat. We know what it's like to drive five hours to a property and not be sure it got mowed in the last three weeks.
We built the business — and especially the Cottage Care service — around that exact pain.
